Node.js Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a solid background in building backend APIs with Node.js and experience in setting up and managing databases. Proficiency in TypeScript or another statically typed language is preferred. A basic understanding of AWS is a plus, but not required.<div><br></div><div>Responsibilities:</div><div>- Develop a deep understanding of how the multi-domain, multi-repository system of our platform works.</div><div>- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.</div><div>- Ability to write medium to complex backend API code &amp; MongoDB queries.</div><div>- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.</div><div><br></div><div>Technical Skills:</div><div>- Proven achievements as a Backend Developer.</div><div>- Proficient in Node.js &amp; Typescript or another statically typed language.</div><div>- Experience in developing backend APIs.</div><div>- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</div><div>- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.</div><div>- Knowledge in Online Payment Gateway and eCommerce is a plus.</div><div>- Knowledge in React is a plus.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Requirements:</div><div>- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent</div><div>- Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience</div><div>- Fluent in English and Arabic</div><div><br></div><div>Working Hours:</div><div>Monday to Friday 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM</div><div>Saturdays 8:00 AM till 1:30 PM</div><div><br></div><div>How to Apply: Interested candidates should send their CV to leen.akar@york-press.com.</div><div><br></div><div>Please include a portfolio of your work or links to any projects you have contributed to, personal repositories on Github with your work would help in exploring your competency.</div>
