<div>Camerabotics LLC specializes in advanced motion control systems and robotic manipulators for visual engineering and cinema production. We are currently seeking a passionate Robotics Software Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to our exciting ongoing development and enhancement of our motion control products for camera robotics.</div><div><br></div><div>As a Robotics Software Engineer at Camerabotics, you will:</div><div>- Work with a highly talented team of roboticists that develop, build and distribute a world-class motion control software that is globally used for robotic arms and industrial maniupulators in films and movie productions.</div><div>- Develop and maintain modules within the Lensmaster desktop application using Python and C++.</div><div>- Implement UI features, workflow improvements, and robotic motion planning tools.</div><div>- Collaborate closely with robotics, firmware, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless end-to-end system integration.</div><div>- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.</div><div>- Take part in feature design and contribute new ideas to improve user experience and workflow.</div><div>- Maintain clear documentation of code, architecture changes, and feature specifications.</div><div><br></div><div>Education:</div><div>· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.</div><div><br></div><div>Experience:</div><div>· 2–5 years of relevant experience</div><div><br></div><div>Core Skill Requirements:</div><div>- Solid understanding of Python and C++ programming.</div><div>- Experience with desktop application development (PyQt, PyQt3d, etc).</div><div>- Basic understanding of real-time communication protocols (TCP/UDP).</div><div>- Solid grasp of object-oriented programming, software testing, and version control (Git).</div><div>- Familiarity with geometric transformations such as translations and rotation using matrices.</div><div><br></div><div>Bonus / Nice to Have:</div><div>· Familiarity with robotics, motion control, or kinematics.</div><div>· Experience with hardware systems such as stepper motors, servo motors and control systems.</div><div>· Exposure to multi-threaded programming and performance optimization.</div><div>· Interest in cinematography, VFX, or creative robotics.</div><div><br></div><div>To apply, you must submit your resume and any personal work samples to Jobs@camerabotics.com</div>
