Senior Java Developer

Areeba is seeking a “Senior Java Developer” to join the team. This role entails developing and maintaining backend applications by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into scalable technical solutions, while ensuring high-quality deliverables and abiding by industry best practices and coding standards.<div><br></div><div><b>Key Responsibilities</b></div><div>- Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend applications using Java Spring Boot framework.</div><div>- Collaborate with product owners, designers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver technical solutions on time.</div><div>- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.</div><div>- Evaluate and integrate third-party APIs, frameworks and libraries to enhance system functionality and performance.</div><div>- Implement best practices in coding, testing and deployment processes to ensure the delivery of reliable and efficient solutions.</div><div>- Maintain thorough documentation throughout the development lifecycle to facilitate future maintenance and scalability.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><b>Qualifications</b></div><div>- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.</div><div>- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Java developer.</div><div>-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.</div><div>- Very good communication skills and teamwork.</div><div><br></div><div><b>Technical Skills</b></div><div>- Expertise in Java programming language and Spring boot framework.</div><div>-Proficiency in Java Persistence API (JPA) and Hibernate ORM (Object-Relational Mapping).</div><div>- Familiarity with RESTful API design principles.</div><div>- Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL.</div><div>- Knowledge of software design patterns and best practices.</div><div>- Familiarity with microservices architecture and related technologies.</div><div>- Experience with multithreading is a plus.</div><div>- Familiarity with Apache Kafka is a plus.</div><div>- Experience in testing tools such as Junit and Mockito.</div><div>- Proficiency in version control systems, including Git.</div><div>- Knowledge in Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.</div><div><br></div><div>Do you believe that you have the right skills for the job?</div><div><br></div><div>kindly send your CV to "careers@areeba.com" mentioning in the subject “Senior Java Developer”.</div>
