VITA Group is seeking a Software Developer to contribute to the development and optimization of system-level and visualization components. The Software Developer will participate throughout the design cycle: from analysis and architecture to implementation, testing, and improvement. This experienced individual will rapidly get familiar with VITA’s products and start contributing to the company’s success. The selected candidate will gain experience in modern C++ (C++17/20), real-time rendering, and Linux environments and deliver high-performance software solutions.<div><br></div><div>Please note: This is an on-site position based in Lebanon. The employee may be required to travel internationally for short-term work trips to any Vita office.</div><div><br></div><div>Key Responsibilities:</div><div><br></div><div>Software Development </div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Develop and maintain applications using C++17/20.</div><div>•<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Implement efficient multithreading and memory-safe practices (RAII).</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Actively participate in design decisions.</div><div><br></div><div>Graphics & Visualization</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Assist in building real-time rendering features using OpenGL, SDL2, and GLM.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Implement overlays, text rendering, and visualization enhancements.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Optimize rendering performance across platforms.</div><div><br></div><div>System Operations & Collaborations</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Work with Linux (Fedora) environments, system services, and Bash scripting.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and data pipelines.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to ensure quality.</div><div><br></div><div>Testing & Deployment</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Debug applications using tools such as gdb and valgrind.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Contribute to testing and validation of new features.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Write unit and integration tests</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Work with Docker and GitLab CI/CD pipelines during development and deployment.</div><div><br></div><div>Qualifications</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>2 years experience in software development.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Proficiency in C++17/20, STL, and multithreading.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Familiarity with Linux environments and Bash scripting.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Basic knowledge of debugging tools (gdb, valgrind).</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Ability to work with Git/GitLab workflows.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Comfort with Dockerized environments.</div><div><br></div><div>Nice To Have</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Experience with OpenGL/SDL2 for graphics and visualization.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Exposure to CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Knowledge of Python for tooling and automation.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Familiarity with image processing libraries (OpenCV, NumPy).</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>To apply, send your CV to: info-leb@vitadetection.com</div>
