VITA Group is seeking a Frontend Developer to support building and maintaining user interfaces. You will gain experience in web technologies and collaborate with backend teams to deliver responsive, interactive features for our applications.<div><br></div><div>Please note: This is an on-site position based in Lebanon. The employee may be required to travel internationally for short-term work trips to any Vita office.</div><div><br></div><div>Key Responsibilities</div><div><br></div><div>Frontend Development </div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Assist in developing frontend components using JavaScript, PHP, HTML, and CSS.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Implement simple UI features such as forms, lists, and interactive elements.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Ensure responsive and user-friendly designs under guidance of senior developers.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Execute additional related tasks assigned by the Director of Strategic Innovation and Technology.</div><div><br></div><div>API Integration & Collaboration</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Work with backend developers to connect APIs to frontend components.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Support data handling, display, and error management in the UI.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Participate in code reviews and team discussions to improve code quality.</div><div><br></div><div>Testing & Deployment</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Assist in debugging and fixing frontend issues.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Contribute to testing features for usability and performance.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Work with Docker and GitLab CI/CD pipelines during development and deployment.</div><div><br></div><div>Learning & Growth</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Gain practical experience in UI/UX best practices.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Stay updated on new frontend tools, frameworks, and standards.</div><div><br></div><div>Qualifications</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>1–2 years of experience working in frontend or full-stack development.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Proficiency in JavaScript (jQuery, DOM manipulation, event handling).</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, and CSS3.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Experience integrating APIs into frontend applications.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Familiarity with Git/GitLab workflows.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Ability to work in Dockerized environments.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.</div><div><br></div><div>Nice To Have</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Experience with modern JS frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) for future migration.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Knowledge of Python basics to better coordinate with backend teams.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Experience with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Familiarity with UI/UX best practices and accessibility.</div><div><br></div><div>How to Apply</div><div>Send your CV directly to info-leb@vitadetection.com</div>
